This role is a strategic hire to ensure Colonnade can successfully design, develop and deliver large Colonnade-wide projects within our transformation programme.
The hired person will act as a senior member of the Scrum Team, responsible for technical excellence and successful delivery of new features in Guidewire PolicyCenter, including rating management and REST API integrations. This involves translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, setting development standards, developing new features, mentoring team members, controlling code quality, and coordinating technical work within the team.
The incumbent will work in Scrum Team together with other developers, testers and business analysts, cooperating closely with Delivery Manager, business stakeholders and other Scrum Teams.
We are looking for goal-oriented team players with a strong engineering background who enjoys delivering high quality source code and business value to the organization.
Twoje zadania
- 1 Lead and own the technical delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions, including product configuration, rating, document flow, REST API integrations
- 2 Translate business requirements into high-level system architecture and detailed technical design

Provide hands-on development in key areas, focusing on code quality and performance effectiveness, while guiding and mentoring developers in the team
- 4 Support of existing platform with strong focus on code quality and good solution design

Collaborate with business analysts, testers, product owners and delivery managers

Fix defects and reduce technical debt

Create and maintain technical documentation

Maintain development process in Azure DevOps

Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- 10 Build strong relationships with workstream colleagues and all senior stakeholders to drive transparency of program workloads, financial, commitments, and expectation
- 11 Actively participate in Scrum events: Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective, Refinement

- Are familiar with other Guidewire Centers, with BillingCenter knowledge highly expected and considered a strong asset
- Have experience working in consulting, delivery, or IT company, especially in the field of non-life insurance
