With deep and hands on knowledge in the developments in SAP systems, ABAP Lead works as a liaison between the business and the IT organization to provide and oversee technical solutions to meet user needs and align technology solutions with business & IT SAP Development strategies.
This role plans, designs, develops, launches efficient technical developments in support of core business functions and processes. Gathers and analyses data in support of business cases, proposed solutions and systems requirements. Configures, tests, implements and supports the solution and possesses expertise in the business functions as well as understanding of SAP systems with capabilities of various SAP Developments.
Twoje zadania
- 1 Facilitates discussions with decision makers, business process owners, and end users to define business and IT requirements, and identify and meet development requirements
- 2 Leads design in prototyping new/existing solutions for the purpose of enhancing/improving business processes, operations, and information process flow
- 3 Coordinates the review and analysis the effectiveness and efficiency of existing SAP systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging the SAP systems
- 4 Leads analysis of business & IT partner’s multi-faceted operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to offer opportunities to improve processes and functions
- 5 Performs in-depth complex business process redesign and documentation as needed for new developments
- 6 Oversees agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business functional area(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
- 7 Uses understanding of technological trends to bring solutions to business units to enhance the company’s competitiveness
- 8 Translates multi-faceted, complex, high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, implements and manages changes to such specifications
- 9 Leads developments and implementations of solutions that are integrated with business processes
- 10 Reviews reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential technical trouble areas across the organization
- 11 Adheres to IT & SAP Applications change management processes, including tracking and confirming changes throughout the landscape; reviews and confirms changes as required by the Business and IT
- 12 Creates multi-faceted complex systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers
Co jest dla nas ważne
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years progressive SAP development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience with ABAP, OOP & JAVA developments for SAP applications. Knowledge & experiences in other commercial programming languages are preferred
- High proficiency in MS Office Tools, Outlook & Internet applications
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- SAP Basis & authorization knowledge is highly preferred
- Dogłębna znajomość modułów SAP ECC, BW, GTS, integracji procesów i orkiestracji, SuccessFactors, Concur, ARIBA i ogólnego krajobrazu technologicznego SAP
