FOR OUR CLIENT WE ARE RECRUITING FOR THE POSITION OF Maui Mobile Software Developer.
We are looking for a senior C# .NET mobile software developer to lead new features and improvements to our xMaestro mobile application system, using Xamarin/Maui technologies with a focus on agile engineering practices.
We are interested in candidates with some “full stack” experience ranging from NHibernate/Entity Framework to Mass Transit and SSO but particularly having strong Blazor/Xamarin/Maui mobile skills. We value engineering discipline and favour senior developers with strong experience in test driven development (TDD) and a focus on quality.
All team members work with a local Team Lead but collaborate closely with other core teams in the UK, US and other remote locations.
Candidates for this role will have significant (8+ years) professional experience with mobile development, including some technical leadership and people skills.
Twoje zadania
- 1 Design code and tests in C# for new xMaestro mobile features while continuously supervising improvements of the current implementation.
- 2 Deeply committed to continuous improvement, refactoring, TDD and pair programming to achieve technical excellence and support long-term customer value.
- 3 Expert working in agile teams, using incremental and iterative development to cope with uncertainty and maintain flow.
- 4 Reviewing code of other developers in your workstream and supporting them in improving their design and development skills
- 5 Collaborate directly with end-users, business analysts and quality assurance, playing an active role in planning and user story development.
- 6 Collaborate with colleagues (including vendor teams) and advising on ways to improve skills and practices.
- 7 Contribute and sometimes lead planning meetings, working with BA and QA as necessary to question, refine and size user stories to enable them for development. With a particular emphasis on quality assurance and acceptance criteria.
- 8 Understand the importance of code refactoring (and when and how to apply it) and minimising technical debt to maintain system quality.
- 9 System support in appropriate time-zones.
- 10 Acquiring deep expertise in the domain.
- 11 Limited travel for regular team meet-ups.
Co jest dla nas ważne
- 8+ years’ experience in C#.NET (Framework 4.x or Core/Standard)
- 5+ years’ combined mobile experience in Xamarin/Maui/Blazer technologies and mobile application deployment
- 8+ years’ experience in developer automated testing (unit, functional and beyond) using [n][x]Unit/Specflow/Playwright/Appium
- 8+ years’ experience in related industries – Logistics is ideal but platform-heavy businesses like Retail/Banking/Insurance are also relevant.
- Agile mindset with XP development practices: Refactoring, Pair programming, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Evolutionary System Architecture.
- Ability to design and build efficient software systems using object-oriented and event-driven approaches in a domain-driven design paradigm.
- Strong engineering discipline particularly in the use of version control using git.
- Some Experience in the use of LINQ and an ORM (either Fluent NHibernate or Entity Framework)

- Exposure to other mobile frameworks like React Native, Flutter etc., Javascript
- Experience in using FRP (Functional Reactive Programming) and Rx
