As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and optimizing our clients’ data pipelines and optimizing data flows. You will work on various data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery. You are ideal candidate if you are experienced in data warehousing and data wrangling. If you enjoy building data systems from scratch and you like modifying existing ones, you will have those opportunities at Sollers.

Developing ETL/ELT solutions and automating data flows
- 2 Designing logical and physical models using formal techniques and design patterns
- 3 Monitoring performance and optimizing data warehouse provisioning processes
- 4 Advising on potential improvements and enhancements of existing data warehouse and reporting solutions
- 5 Work with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Tech Leads to ensure business requirements are adequately addressed in the design and later in the development process
- 6 Monitor Data Warehouse jobs and troubleshoot failures
- 7 Advising on the use of appropriate methodologies and technologies
- 8 Designing comprehensive data architectures addressing clients’ needs and other aspects like data privacy and security, compliancy with regulations, integrity and availability, etc.
Co jest dla nas ważne
- Have at least 3y of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or a Data Warehouse Developer, or Hands-on experience in data modelling and developing data systems
- Understand DWH concepts, data lakes, data mesh, lambda, and kappa architecture
- Be proficient in SQL or T-SQL
- Have experience with (ETL/ELT) and data migration
- Communicate effortlessly with clients and team members
- Good understanding of computer programming and software development process
- Know at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, R)
Docenimy
- Have a practical knowledge of selected technologies in the areas of data integrations, Master Data Management, data analytics, AI, and/or data-driven process automation
- Have knowledge of insurtechs in the data area
- Have experience in software bidding processes
- Speak German or French
- Have experience in consulting
- Worked in Agile (Scrum) methodology
